Monodraw v1.7: Public Test
Monodraw v1.7 is now available for public testing. It includes a new plain text format for improved source control integration and Dark Mode support for the canvas.

Dark Mode Canvas
The canvas now respects Dark Mode, so it's much easier on the eyes.
Plain Text Format
Monodraw now offers two file formats – a new plain text format (.monojson) and the pre-existing binary foramt (.monopic).
The Monojson format provides improved experience when using a version control system. But it's still possible to corrupt files by manually editing them or as part of merge conflict resolution. While the format has been optimized for mergeability, it's not foolproof.
Any files saved by Monodraw v1.7 (both text and binary formats) are incompatible with any previous versions.
Rollout Plan
Monodraw v1.7 is available on pre-release update channel.
You can always download Monodraw v1.6 if needed.
Over-the-Air Update
Once we have good confidence that no regressions have been introduced, the update will be pushed to our direct customers and Mac App Store users.
Mac App Store
If you have bought Monodraw from the Mac App Store and want to use Monodraw v1.7 right now, you can still download it and use it during the trial period. If you have previously tested Monodraw and your trial period has expired, contact us.
